Full Story

Hims & Hers Health, Inc., a leading health and wellness platform, has announced the appointment of two new clinical leaders to its global medical leadership team. Kultar Garcha, MD, will assume the role of Chief Medical Officer for the UK and EMEA, while Matt Vickers, FRACGP, MBBS, BMedSci, AICGG, will become the Chief Medical Officer for Hims Australia. These appointments are part of the company’s strategy to enhance local clinical leadership to support its international expansion and improve access to personalised care.

Pat Carroll, MD, Global Chief Medical Officer at Hims & Hers, stated, “We believe the only way to grow internationally is to invest in leaders who have a deep understanding and expertise in these markets.” He highlighted that Dr. Garcha and Dr. Vickers bring almost 30 years of combined experience in public healthcare systems and an understanding of the patient experience. Dr. Garcha will ensure clinical quality, patient safety, and prescribing standards across the UK and EMEA.

Dr. Garcha has over 20 years of experience in the UK and international health systems, including roles in clinical leadership at Flow Neuroscience and Babylon Health, alongside 15 years as a practising NHS GP. His expertise includes developing perinatal mental health care and improving health outcomes during perimenopause and menopause. He serves on the NICE Quality Standards Advisory Committee.

Expressing his mission, Dr. Garcha said, “Hims & Hers takes that same instinct and gives it a deeper impact, bringing comprehensive care to patients broadly.” He aims to expand access to care for patients, regardless of their location or ability to navigate the healthcare system.

Dr. Vickers, also a practising GP with over ten years in family medical practice, has been leading health-tech initiatives at Eucalyptus since 2019, where he enhanced clinical governance and research capabilities. He is dedicated to improving access to care in underserved areas, particularly rural communities. As Chief Medical Officer for Hims Australia, he stated, “Hims Australia has the ability to get care to patients the same day, wherever they live, without lowering the bar on how that care is delivered.”

Dr. Garcha and Dr. Vickers join an international medical leadership team that includes Sandy Van, MD, who has been the Chief Medical Officer for Hims & Hers Canada since December 2025. Hims & Hers is committed to revolutionising health and wellness access to enhance overall well-being.
