Kingdom Support and Care has appointed Rachel Doyle as its new director of care and support. Kingdom Support and Care is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingdom Housing Association. The organisation stated that Ms Doyle will bring a “warm, people-focused leadership style and more than 25 years’ experience across the public, private and regulatory sectors.”
Prior to her new role, Ms Doyle was the head of health and safety at the Scottish charity Enable, where she spearheaded the strategic vision for health, safety, estates and compliance within a large, person-centred social care organisation since February. She is also a qualified social care practitioner.
Ms Doyle has previous experience as the owner and director of Home Instead West Fife, where she was known as a champion of relationship-led care that emphasised dignity and compassion. Additionally, she served as head of health, safety and well-being at the University of Strathclyde and earned her MBA with distinction in 2022.
In her new position, Ms Doyle will oversee operations at Kingdom Support and Care, reinforcing the organisation’s focus on “compassionate, high-quality services that put people at the heart of everything it does.” She expressed enthusiasm for her new role, stating, “I’m thrilled to join Kingdom Support and Care. Person-centred support is something I care deeply about. I’m looking forward to working alongside colleagues and partners to ensure people across Fife and the Forth Valley region receive exceptional care that helps them live well, confidently and independently.”
Additionally, Ms Doyle has been an active contributor to her local community, serving as a trustee for the Carnegie Dunfermline and Hero Fund Trusts since 2021, as well as for Carnegie UK Trust and Lar Housing Trust.
